This CCIM Illinois Mentorship Program is a derivative of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committees strategic plan to parallel global efforts of many organizations and companies to have a major impact on increasing the number of minorities & women in the commercial real estate industry. The program's purpose aligns with the Institute’s mission to elevate members to the highest level of success in the commercial real estate profession and to shape the commercial real estate industry by being the most influential and innovative group of professionals.
To date, 30 graduates have benefited from this impactful experience, gaining insight, connections, and confidence to advance their careers in commercial real estate.

The Mentorship Alumni Council (MAC) Initiative
As a participant in the CCIM Illinois Chapter Mentorship Program, you are automatically welcomed into the Mentorship Alumni Council (MAC)—a built-in network of peers, mentors, and leaders. The MAC initiative was created to foster a sense of connection and belonging among participants, the CCIM Illinois Chapter, and the National Institute. Its primary goal is to serve as a bridge for engagement, ongoing networking, and the development of supportive pipelines that benefit both the organization and MAC members. Beyond celebrating mentorship, MAC provides a centralized platform to share updates and collaborate on the broader goals of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. While the Mentorship Program is a cornerstone initiative, MAC also supports the committee’s larger mission to promote equity and representation in commercial real estate—a focus that continues to grow in importance across the industry.
