Patricia Tesluk, CCIM, is a veteran commercial real estate professional and longtime leader within the CCIM Institute. A past President of the Indiana CCIM Chapter, she has served on numerous national committees, including Governance, Member Services, Designation, and Networking Advisory, contributing to the CCIM Institute’s professional standards and member experience. With a career beginning in 1991, Patricia has held senior roles in commercial real estate operations, asset strategy, and corporate retail services. She is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a graduate of Columbia University, recognized for her commitment to advancing education and leadership within the CCIM community.

John H. Keepper (1938–2012) was a U.S. Navy officer turned distinguished commercial real estate professional who became the founding president of the Illinois CCIM Chapter, shaping its early direction and reputation. A Lake Forest College graduate and Vietnam-era veteran, he built a respected career with firms including CB Richard Ellis and Coldwell Banker Commercial, known for his leadership, integrity, and mentorship. Beyond real estate, he was a devoted family man, an avid sailor who raced his boat Scotch Mist, a tenor in his church choir, and an enthusiastic outdoorsman. His legacy endures through the chapter he helped establish and the many professionals he influenced throughout his life.

CHARLES (CHUCK) WIERCINSKI, CCIM, EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP  |  EST. 2018

Charles “Chuck” E. Wiercinski (1946–2014) was a respected commercial real estate professional, educator, and mentor whose influence extended across Illinois and throughout the CCIM community. Beginning his real estate career in 1975, he went on to earn the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and became a Senior Instructor for the CCIM Institute, teaching CI 101 and CI 103 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Chuck also authored commercial real estate courses for Illinois and national education programs, helping shape the professional development of countless practitioners. As Senior Broker and Managing Broker with McLennan Companies, he specialized in commercial and industrial properties and was known for his deep market knowledge, humor, and generosity. His legacy of service and teaching continues through the Chuck Wiercinski Memorial Scholarship, honoring his lifelong commitment to advancing commercial real estate education.
