The following scholarships are made possible through a partnership with The CCIM Foundation and the Illinois CCIM Chapter. The scholarships not only help advance careers through access to the CCIM Institute’s world-class curriculum, but they also honor CCIM's who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and achievement in commercial real estate. By offering these scholarships, we uphold the highest educational standards and invest in the future of our industry.

SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATIONS & RULES
- The amount of each scholarship is typically $500 or more and is at the discretion of the Illinois CCIM Board of Directors and Scholarship Committee.
- Illinois CCIM Chapter membership is required but CCIM Institute membership is NOT required to apply.
- The ideal recipient should exemplify the ideals and standards set out by the National CCIM Institute, demonstrate a commitment to a career in commercial real estate, and have sincere interest in the activities of The CCIM Institute and the Illinois CCIM Chapter.
- Each recipient is responsible for full payment of course tuition to The CCIM Institute. Recipients are reimbursed the scholarship amount after successfully completing the course and passing the required testing. Failing the course and/or tests renders the scholarship null and void.
- Scholarships must be used toward tuition for current-year Illinois CCIM Chapter in-person courses and cannot be applied retroactively to a course already taken, nor is a scholarship redeemable for cash.
- Application deadlines are July 1 for the 2026 CI 101 scholarships and August 1 for the 2026 CI 102 scholarships.
- A 150 – 300 word typed statement explaining why you want to become a CCIM, along with your current resume, are required.

The CCIM Institute Foundation’s Opportunity Scholarship Program is designed to jump-start and transform the careers of qualifying professionals by funding their path to the prestigious CCIM Pin. Eligible applicants include first-generation commercial real estate professionals who have successfully completed CI 101: Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate. Each scholarship offers up to $5,000 to apply toward Designation course enrollment and fees.
The CCIM Institute Foundation Veterans Scholarship Program honors the service of U.S. military veterans by helping them launch a rewarding career in commercial real estate. This program offers up to $15,000 in educational funding for non-degree-based commercial real estate education, including certification programs through leading organizations such as CCIM Institute, REALTORS® Land Institute, IREM, and SIOR.
